The Tree by the Water

 1.  God blesses the man who pays no heed to the wicked.

Who stays far from sinners and those who mock the Lord.

God blesses the man who takes delight in good teaching,

Who morning and evening sets his mind on the Word.

Sending down roots into the river below.

Lifting up branches with the leaves that won't wither

And filling them up with every good fruit that grows.

2.  Stay far from the wicked, they’re like the dead leaves of autumn.

See how the hot wind will pluck them and drive them away.

They can’t stand with God in the righteous assembly.

They'll have no answer upon the judgment day.
