"In the beginning was the word." With
these magnificent words, John the Evangelist begins his gospel. Widely
believed to have been the last gospel written, John's gospel contains the
most fully developed and articulated theology of the four. For some
skeptical scholars, this indicates that John was a imposing his own ideas
upon the pure and original gospel. The problem with such a theory is
that no real evidence backs it up. |
