Introduction

This site is a companion to Tune My Heart, a daily devotional site.  As so many sites, it is perpetually under construction.  As you drift among the various pages, you'll find that some of them seem reasonably complete and thorough, while others look as if I simply dumped a few un-annotated links in and moved on.  The reason for this state of affairs is that I am one person attempting to create and maintain this catalog.  Please be patient. The one person in question is a Bible-believing Christian, a Baptist to be exact, but I'm hardly a chauvinist about it.  I have great respect for Bible-believing Christians from other theological traditions, so you'll find much of their material included on these pages.  I also greatly respect the learning and efforts of non-Bible-believing scholars and religious folks.  I don't understand them, but I respect them.  I believe we should "plunder the Egyptians" and take everything useful from them that we can.  In my annotations, I try to give a sense of where a particular resource is coming from.  If the author is Catholic, I'll typically tell you.  If the author seems left-of-center in attitude toward the Bible's reliability, I'll try to note that.  If the author adheres to some bizarre theological school--Christian Identity or Mormonism, for example--I'll definitely look to mention that.  Should you happen to stumble onto something that you think should be mentioned, then please drop me a line and let me know.

My goal here is to maintain a deep and useful library of web-based sources for Bible study.  Part of my purpose is to organize my own resources and supplement my own study.  It's my hope that this effort will bless other people as well.  If it blesses you, then I'd invite you to find a book, CD, DVD, or other product that is described here and buy it from Amazon.  I'll get a bit of a kick-back and you'll get a nice resource.

What's New

February 25, 2008--The site is in the midst of being adapted into the new layout. The content will not be much different from what you've seen, but the look will be significantly different.
